After abuse accusation tears Kansas family apart, parents mourn time lost with kids

Sarah Goble and Brian Boxx spent their son Finnik’s first birthday reflecting on a difficult year in which they were wrongly accused of child abuse. After taking Finnik to the ER in October 2024, doctors reported suspected fractures in his tiny bones. However, many of these turned out not to be fractures at all, and none caused him pain. Pediatric records showed Finnik was healthy before and after the visit. The case, based on questionable diagnoses, deeply affected the family, despite the child’s continued good health.
